Service Advisor

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the main point of contact for customers who need automotive service or repairs

- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them

- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle inspections

- Explain repair estimates and obtain customer approval for work to be performed

- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs

- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Experience:

- Previous experience in the automotive industry, preferably as a Service Advisor or in a related role

- Knowledge of auto body repair, suspension, diesel engine repair, brake repair, and other automotive services

- Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures

- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient computer skills for entering and retrieving customer information

- Available to work Saturdays
